Watched this drama/documentary last night. One of the best weve ever seen. All I can say is that there is no reasonable dispute about the greatest English translation of the Bible ever written: past or present. Any dispute about versions must center on the sources (original languages) of those versions, not the finished product. For there is no comparison. The King James version not only is the greatest piece of English literature ever written, it is responsible for the very soul of Western Civilization. No other English version can even approach the impact the KJV has had and what it still means to the world today. I HIGHLY recommend this documentary. All Christians should watch it. The King James Bible is still the King of all English translations, and all English translations still submit to it as the Standard. Only a truly ignorant person would call it just another translation and lower it to the level of other English translations. Note: this documentary was NOT produced by KJV-only proponents. But there can be no doubt that the many scholars interviewed herein would, if asked about their preference towards an English translation of the Bible, side emphatically with the King James Version.
