HoodPuppy wants to thank EVERYBODY who is helping us tell the Mercys Kennel story. So where is it? Yall have been at this for 4 years, and...? We are putting the finishing touches on it, but that has taken longer than wed have liked. Keep in mind, we have been doing this and funding this project on our own, and creating a piece worthy of a theater run or network air is expensive. In addition, the ability to fund our own lives throughout this entire process has been difficult, and questionable at times. I assure you, we are going to finish, and finish strong! This story is not just about Pet Overpopulation and Euthanization at Animal Control Facilities across the country. This story is about a lack of education and the socioeconomic conditions that lead to many of these issues. It is not pretty. We are not the HSUS or ASPCA. We are a couple guys with a story to tell - a story most of you pet advocates are well aware of, but the general public is oblivious to. Our trailer on YouTube has reached over 75,000 people, so imagine what our documentary will do! We are working on a second trailer to promote this work, and the full doc still has a couple holes that we are trying to fill.
