Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas. When I was a young man just out of the Marine Corps, I would go around on Christmas Day and visit old friends. Not at meal time but just so I could stay a few minutes, give everyone a hug and move on. I haven’t done that in years but it was always a big part of my Christmas. It also made wonderful memories to think about on days like today when I am working alone here in the big city. Not much happening. Had an emergency call to the nursing home because someone had replaced the plug on an A/C unit and didn’t tighten the screws good. The plug was throwing sparks and they had to evacuate that section of the nursing home. Everyone is fine and it pays to have experience in Mechanical and Electrical maintenance. One of the good things about being an “old” cop.
