As a grass-roots effort to grow our community on the 2000 block of Michigan Ave, called Eastside Avenue, we ask that you pass along this post to your lists. Joining forces with Everybody Reads, The Avenue, Creating Heros Comic Book store and non-profit to aid at risk readers....our community is growing! We have a grant from Ingham County Land Bank and MSUs Dept of Urban Planning and Design to add seating, art, plants, lights in the trees and even an outdoor piano to enhance local business. This will be ready Memorial Day weekend this year! (my birthday weekend, btw) and we are going to need painters, planters and performers to join us! Come in and see the pictures! To celebrate the fun we are having a mini Psychic Fair each weekend with a variety of readers and healers: today Angelic Messenger & Psychic, Chakra Healer, Tarot Readers and Mehdi Art at very reasonable prices! $10 for 15 min.
