Jandk Live 2 hours ago Army kills two youth in North Kashmir Srinagar : Two civilians were killed in firing by Army in Markandal area of Sumbal in Bandipore district late last night provoking strong protests in the area.Sources told JandK Live that Army had laid a cordon of few houses in Markandal and during which two civilians were killed. Further details of the incidents are awaited and top police and civil officials have rushed to the area. Police, however, confirmed both were civilians. People in Sumbal and adjoining area are protesting against the killing and police used tear gas and baton charging to disperse the mob in which five people were injured. Situation in the area is tense.
