Hopefully today Scotlands wealthy landowners will waken up and accept their responsibilities to the people of Scotland. We no doubt will be told that land reform will decimate rural jobs and hopefully that will not be the case. However the antiquated system of land ownership in Scotland must be radically reformed. The wealthy land owners must be fairly taxed and then maybe we will start to see small farmers and crafters being given the chance to own the land they farm. We cannot keep the status quo just because the rich threaten job cuts. Next we will have the criminals justifying their existence because it keeps police numbers high.
