Hopefully you are never in the position where you are sitting across from a doctor and they say the words I sorry but I have to tell you that you have....... I have been in that position and it is not a good place to be. It is natural to feel anger and remorse no matter what the diagnosis is. But it is what you do after you process the information that will determine the road you will travel. In1991 Michael J Fox was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease. Michael J Fox has found support in his family and has worked to make sure that those that came after him had an easier road. Robin Williams took another road. Remember, no matter what the doctor says, there is still hope when you wake up each morning. You just have to get past the initial shock and move on. Hard? For sure. But it can be done. You just have to believe.
