Hopes African American History highlight: Grateful for my mother, Deborah Jean Gregory, who lived the Word for my sisters and I. Although I did not always agree with her method of teaching, the love attached to it has created the God fearing woman that I am today and the God honoring wife/mother that Ive become (and still growing into). Im forever grateful for her example of being a keeper of her home, a loving faithful wife whos husband had confidence in her, a nurturing mother, a no nonsense woman who did not entertain foolishness (she knew how to drive it out of you LOL), a bold confident woman of God;yet gentle and meek, and by being a sacrificing mother who cared more about the needs of her family than her own desires/wants. She taught me the Word by being a living example of it. For that Im thankful for her life. Im truly proud to be her daughter!!
