Horatio Jones Designs @Horatio_Jones On Sunday, it came to my attention from several sources that my character was being assassinated by unprovoked, false, baseless accusations and insults from my former costume maker, John Azzopardi/Horatio Jones, who posted inflammatory comments about me on instagram and twitter. He alleged that I never credited him for any work that he did for me and that I had the effrontery to credit his work to, in his words, some “faggot who’s glued sequins onto his designs”, he went on to call me a “cunt and a lying twat stating that I have mistreated him for a long time. John has since taken down the defamatory pictures and comments but not before damage was done with retweets, likes and comments. I emailed him severally, offering him the opportunity to do the honourable thing and publicly retract on said media, hes ignored me thinking that taking down the pictures would be enough. It is not. All his work for me, detailed commissions. I went to him with ideas, pictures and sometimes awful drawings and he would help me interpret my vision. Rebuttal. The right to fiercely protect and defend my integrity and brand. A brand i’ve painstakingly and diligently curated over the years. An attempt to claw back some sanity and fight the spiral and insomnia this has caused. Am I an asshole? Yes and proudly so. Thankfully not a litigious one. Im however, none of the things you profess, John. I will say this, not only were we friends but at the height of our collaboration, he did superlative work. Wonderful outfits that, im to this day, very proud to wear. I don’t understand why or how we got here but I’m going to stop trying to. NEXT!
