Hornig is pronounced Ajnaby (ALIEN) by Law! This was true twenty years ago when I first arrived ( I was the first American Male to take up residence in Beirut after the Civil war.). It is true today and it will be true twenty years from now. It is true for Hornigs born in Beirut. It is true for Hornigs who speak Lebanese as a mother tongue. It is true for Hornigs who have lived their entire lives in Beirut. It is true for Hornigs with Lebanese Blood running through their veins. Lets see what the claim is when Hornigs born and bred in Lebanon are in a position to make Lebanon proud. (Dont get it? You can rest easy, you probably never will. )
