MUHAMMADU BUHARI’S CONTINUING RANTS AGAINST COMMON SENSE The recent Press Statement signed by an ex-dictator and serial-presidential-aspirant on the new found activism by State Legislative houses, resulting in an impeachment and ongoing efforts thereto of non performing cantankerous State Governors presents a source of worry to all genuinely concerned about the future of our contraption. Does this character who is aspiring to become President of the Federal Republic really understand how the Constitution of our contraption works? That State Legislative Houses are responsible for impeachment of State Governors? Secondly, one now begins to wonder what really is the quality of training we give to our military when a retired General and former dictator of our contraption, Muhammadu Buhari, clearly does not understand what a war truly is? Accusing the Federal Government of ‘declaring war on Nigerians’ on account of efforts to use security forces to ensure that real votes get counted amounts to an infantile hyperbole geared towards generating public disaffection and mayhem. The repeated allusion to ‘blood’ being spilled in General Muhammadu Buhari’s said Press Release, and similar comments and public utterances by other rulers of the Alliance of Progressive Change (APC) further underscores my believe that perhaps the greatest disservice meted out to the Nigerian contraption by its Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was to register an amalgam of hate-filled, anarchist disgruntled politicians as a political party. Recent political developments and results from elections held reveal that Nigerians have seen through the scam referred to as the APC.
