Horror Project/ Part 5 of 31: Fearing sadism From Beyond Trust me, if you want a movie that will make you nearly pee your pants in laughter and also satisfy your lust for 80s horror gore, this is the movie. H.P. Lovecraft is adapted once again by the Re-Animator director Stuart Gordon with Jeffrey Combs at the lead again as well. Once you are finished this one, you will wonder why there arent more like it. The address is 666 Benevolent street, where a scientist and his partner attempt to stimulate the pineal gland to access a parallel dimension of horrors. The story this was based on was only seven pages, but you will remember these 86 minutes of insanity. It ate him...it bit off his head...like a gingerbread man!! Classic. Definitely a favorite.
