Horses tend to not have the same hang-ups about losing an eye that people have. Many one-eyed horses compete in many disciplines, proving that they can often overcome such an obstacle. Even totally blind horses can do well in their own paddocks/pastures; some even have a buddy to lead them around. It has been noted that horses often feel better after the eye is removed. It seems to be a chronic nag, not enough to be out-right painful, but more painful that is often appreciated. We wish Addy and his owners the best of luck! Fox Run Equine Center foxrunequne
