Hot on the heels of me sharing that post earlier, I just had someone door knocking collecting money for the Heart Foundation. I politely explained to the lady that I think they give out bad advice and the tick program is wrong and Im currently helping to promote a petition to have it banned. I explained that they endorse products that are full of sugar and bad fats and I didnt want to support them. Her response Well, I hope you dont ever need anything done to your heart. My jaw dropped. Wow. I think if I need something done to my heart, Ill be looking to a cardiologist, not the Heart Foundation. She was nice enough and said to have a lovely day, but this is the level of information thats out there on the subject.
