House Bill No. 5293 entitled An Act Creating the National Research Center for Sustainable Mineral Industry (NRCSMI) and Providing Funds thereof, filed by Cong. Erlpe John M. Amante of the 2nd district of Agusan del Norte envisions to be the lead research body of the government for the minerals industry. It shall focus on the development of mining and mineral processing technologies, formulation of relevant policies, and promotion of sustainable mining practices. #piacaraga
