House update. We met with the architect. Who technically is an engineer about the deck. Maybe finally sorted but not before some harsh words. Not proud of raising my voice but it needed to be done. The house looks great and Im happy with it all round. Progress however is a game changer. No pre Christmas move in date. End of feb was touted as a possibility but the building manager says its March if not longer. My expert friends say it could be much longer. So. There is no build schedule no move in date and the builders are completing their contract on Friday. There are no builders booked in the new year. If this was a tv show with no production schedule and we were so far behind there would be hell to pay. But this is an insurance job and there are no penalties for delays. They literally can do as they please with no repercussions. July 15, Sept 18, Dec 19 now nothing. Im meeting iag on Friday, coincidentally the 3 year anniversary of the fire. I have every intention of letting everyone know the outcome. It all sounds very negative but let me assure you all; I am calm, I am focussed and I am very motivated. Im not angry or upset; these are emotions long forgotten. All I want is to move on.
