How China Fooled the World? No, How Western Commentators Dont Know Their Ass from a Hole in the Ground. Interesting recent BBC video about the amazing growth in Chinas infrastructure over the last 5 years, unprecedented in world history, but the commentary is uninspired, lame and totally off-base. The guy obviously is applying conventional Western bourgeois economic nostrums to China when they are totally inappropriate. He doesnt understand how socialism works and doesnt even use the word once although he intimates that socialist economic policies are what allowed China to weather the Great Recession without hardly a blip.
