* How I met The Anonymous Writer * To escape from the mundane - TopicsExpress

* How I met The Anonymous Writer * To escape from the mundane office life, I used to browse through random FB pages. And one day, I saw a comment made by Abhijit on a political page, and I decided to stalk his profile. Below the bold letters of his name, I saw a page he ran. The Anonymous Writer, which posted stories and write ups. I have never been a fan of literature and my reading is limited to the four novels written by Chetan Bhagat (Shh.. Dont tell anyone ) and Taxmann publishers. After reading stories like Deja Vu and The Namesake, I didnt have to think twice to follow the page. I loved the posts by A and became a big fan of Gleeman who wrote tales that made me imagine about characters that were unknown to me till then. I wished I could write like them. If there was something that never crossed my mind, that was writing. I had no passion for writing but after seeing the way these folks wrote, I convinced myself to try my luck once. So I wrote the story of a passenger watching a girl solving a Rubiks cube and sent it with absolutely no hope to the TAW inbox. That one got posted somehow and not knowing what was happening, I sent six more stories over the next 5 months. Surprisingly all of them got posted. One fine night, I got a one line message bhai, why dont you join us? And here I am! One among the admins of Indias biggest blog, posting my random scribbles. I wish I could write about these people and the way they have influenced my thoughts. Hell! It even changed my goals. Two years back I wanted to be an entrepreneur, but now I would not stop once to be a writer. May be a writer who can touch lives with simple words. A story teller who can spread love and happiness through his words. The invisible and anonymous person who brings a change. Yes, I want to be The Anonymous Writer Happy Birthday!! ~ Aswath #TAWTurnsTwo
