How Islam honours Women; There is a whole Surah in Qur’an with YOUR name (Suratul Nisa` (women). The first person who believed in Prophet Muhammad (salla’llahu ‘alayhi wassallaam) was a woman, Khadijah (Radhi ALLAHuAnha). The first martyr in Islam was a woman (Sumaya). The recommendation Prophet Muhammad (salla’llahu ‘alayhi wassallaam) gave to his nation before he (salla’llahu ‘alayhi wassallaam) died was to treat YOU well. YOU are the half of the society, and YOU are to raise the other half, how high your status is! And above all ALLAH has raised YOUR status to such highest place that Jannah is placed under YOUR feet!!! And because YOU are so precious, Islam honored YOU with Hijab for preserving YOUR chastity and purity WOMAN was made from the rib of man, She was not created from his head to top him, Not from his feet to be stepped upon. She was made from his side to be close to him, From beneath his arm to be protected by him, Near to his heart to be loved by him... SubhanAllah !
