How To Talk To The Govt – And Why For months, young volunteers have been knocking on doors in 14 municipalities in eastern Afghanistan as part of a concerted campaign to educate citizens on their rights and responsibilities. The campaign, supported by USAID’s Regional Afghan Municipalities Program for Urban Populations (RAMP-UP), has 389 volunteers, which includes more than a hundred women. The female volunteers help ordinary Afghan women access information about their government.
