How about it folks . . I am sure that there are more people out there that can shed some light in their opinions on this warrantly interpretation!!! . . . Am I wrong about a standard warranty being an exchange gratis with the balance of the original warranty attached or not??? I am sitting here doing everything on my phone hunt & peck style until I get this issue resolved. I AM OBVIOUSLY CRIPPLED & DELAYED FROM EFFECTIVE WORK UNTIL THIS GETS RESOLVED!!! See the following for context.. . Computer Status Update. . .. The good news is that the luminance / brightness problem is apparently solely in the LCD Screen NOT the motherboard. I should be able to turn in the dud and get a new screen in exchange and have it covered by the balance of the Original Warranty. The bad news is that the Ebay Store refuses to honor my understanding of the warranty! The store wants to forget the dud exchange saying shpping costs for it would amount to $35 out of my pocket. Instead they want to charge me $35 for the replacement! When I challenged them saying my understanding was industry standard and that dud shipping would not cost what.they stated they lowered their fee to $28 adding that that was the best they could do! I packaged my screen in the same, box they shipped the original in via U.S.P.S. and had it weighed at the station and the shipping fee was $9.75 plus or minus a few cents standard class! T
