Written n revised by yours truly..... Messages in the music.. I dont deserve to climb no stairway to heaven.. Aint never rolled no dice n could not roll a seven.. Went down that road, flirtin with disaster.. Never had no prestige and nobody callrd me master.. Traveled too long a destructive highay to hell.. Too many lonely faces n too many stories to tell... Like Jimi Hendrix with the acid in his bandana.. Hes no longer alive like Carlos Santana.. I thought i was solid like the rock of ages.. Time to move on...Time to turn the pages.. Took a long time to learn to walk this way... I wake up feelin alive n grateful for each day.. Dark spaces..No Hotel California or some lovely place... I was basically non-existent or a part of the human race... Thought i could ride the lightnin but started to fade to black.. Turned it all around to get my life back.... Wanted to live a better life not away from the sun... New people, new faces new places and have some fun... No longer wanna rock n roll all nite n party every day... Lifes too short...A helluva price to pay... Just give me a reason, a reason to live.... Today i value life...I have something to give... Messages in the music, I hear the voices ring... The echoes are like horrors of those who no longer sing... Share a message, a message of hope... Fight for your life n the ability to cope... A tribute and dedication to all who give back unconditionally and to those who have struggled.. God bless you all.. Life comes back..♥
