How about this for a guessing game instead of static photos.... Someone posts a video for a song that was used in an 80s movie soundtrack. Everyone else tries to guess what movie it was on the soundtrack for. RULES: ~ MUST be a movie from the 80s. ~ MUST still be a New Wave band or at least CLOSELY related (like, rockabilly is probably okay, but mainstream pop is not). ~ If the song was originally written not as a New Wave song but was covered for the soundtrack by a New Wave band, that works. ~ Original posters have to keep track of their threads, if nobody guesses the movie within 10 comments, tell the name of the movie. Once someone has guessed the movie, let them know theyre correct so the thread doesnt go on endlessly with repetitive guessing. ~ Documentaries ABOUT music are ineligible (i.e. Decline of Western Civilization, etc.). ~ Bonus kudos if guessers can tell us any bits of trivia about the song/band in the post in relation to the movie soundtrack it was on. ~ Poster, try not to use videos that have actual clips from the movie or itll be too easy. duh. ;) (and if any of you post Kenny Loggins or anything from Footloose, Im going to scream.)
