How can one know where he or she is going if they dont know where theyve been?? Concerning Nationality, for example, some are Irish; And, they are from Ireland. Some are Spanish; and, they are from Spain. Germans are from Germany. Arabs are from Saudi Arabia. ..etc, etc, If one look deeper, they would discover that it is The LAND that binds a ppl together; Hence, A NATION (the land) NATIONALITY (the people of that land-- which are characterized by shared race, ethnicity, heritage, culture, ideas and beliefs). There are seven continents on this earth; and, within each, there are many nations/nationalities. . .so forth, and so on. Now, here in the Americas, I & my Ancestors would be considered, by some, to be (let me get the timeline right--Negro/Nigga, Colored, Black, and my favorite, African-American)! Now, some wld probably think that we have advanced greatly and we ought to be grateful for the names that others have given us. However, the problem that I have with all this name calling , is that, I dont know where any of these places are!!! Ok! I know where the continent, Africa is. And, I reside here in America; But, I still havent a land (a Nation) that I can identify with, or others around the world can identify me, my ppl by (a nationality). So, I conclude, that no other nations around the world will ever take seriously, or even respect a people that dont know who they are or where they come from! I will even go so far as to say, that all nations of the world are. sthaus! We are in an Existential Identity Crisis and destained to be locked in a world underclass if we dont do something about it!
