How can two days be so very different! Monday didnt start well but got progressively better, Charlotte was very emotional yesterday , when Claud arrived, its hard when she is sad but so wonderful to know that its because its someone she knows and loves, she also cried when the hospital gave her the largest cuddly toy gorilla I have ever seen (we weighed it 3 kg!) she gave it the biggest hug. She had a reasonable day, didnt eat much but no sickness phew..... however was very sick at 4 am this morning!! Still we are thinking and hoping its not a bug and just all a bit much for her tummy. The day has got progressively better granny came to visit, we walked with Charlotte pushing her wheelchair to the entrance of st thomass which is a fair way, amazing! She feel asleep on the way back (not surpriselying). The highlight tonight was the present that granny/grandad got her a pair of headphones with her name on them, she was just about able to put them on (the hospital ones have been too big and constantly fall off) and when i asked if she liked them the left side of her mouth turned up and her eyes lit up!!!!!! URIKA. Another turning point today was that we moved bed space to the ward next door, I know might sound trivial however, I have known the other mums/dads and children on this bay and been on this journey with them, we also had the most decorated bed space. However it felt right today as someone far more poorly was coming up from ICU Charlotte is getting better and this is the next move forward to coming home sooner. The illusive Rutixmab drug is apparently going to start tomorrow????????? watch this space. Simon and the girls due up to tomorrow, cant wait to see them, miss them terribly and its Wednesday cinema night yippee.
