How can we know how to live then? God gives us a guide to do just that. He gives us communion and conversation with him through prayer. He gives us scripture as a guide. He gives us the institution of the church to gather together in his name. He gives us the prophetic word of pastors and priests. But, As Isaiah makes clear; God works upon man first through conscience. Listen to your conscience! There are some things that you know in your own mind at heart that are wrong. Don’t do them! As you grow in your service, your conscience is enlightened and you increase in your understanding of rightness and wrongness.
