How can we make Christ known in our community? What will fuel our witness for Jesus? It is written: 46 Then He said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And you are witnesses of these things. 49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high. -Christ Jesus - Luke 24 NKJV... 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. -Christ Jesus - Acts 1 NKJV Jesus prays for us: 25 Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them. -Christ Jesus - John 17 NIV It is the love and the power of God that will fuel our witness for Jesus. Pray that we may be witnesses in our cities and for the love of God to fill our hearts for the people around us. Amen. -Shon
