How delish do these look? *You will need a food processor for this recipe* 1/2 cup soaked dates (approx 30 minutes) 1/2 cup dried figs 1 tbsp chia seeds 1/3 cup cacao nibs 7 tbsp organic cocoa powder 2 ½ cups soaked raw organic almonds 1/3 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice 3 ½ tbs organic or manuka honey 1. Grind the almonds to a powder 2. Put cocoa powder, orange juice, dates, figs, cacao nibs, chia seeds and honey in a food processor and blend together 3. Process until blended. 4. Add ground almonds gradually, keep blending and checking consistency until firm enough that you can roll into balls 5. Roll into balls in the palm of your hands 6. Coat balls in desiccated coconut 7. Put in fridge to firm There are so many options to this recipe, but try to use real food not protein powders etc and receive the benefits of wholesome, healthy food. Variety * Add some coconut butter and less orange juice * Add some cranberries and less dates/figs
