How did Leroy die? Well, you know there is a story...so let me tell you. As many of you know, Leroy had back surgery several years ago to remove a large herniated disk in his back. At that time I was told that he had another at his tale end, but was advised to let that one go, due to Leroys age. So, he was on pain meds around the clock, which helped tremendously. However, I learned that swimming was the best exercise for herniated disks as well as arthritis, so I was taking him in the pool swimming with me every chance I had. All the time, telling him how good it is for him and how good it feels. It was hard work on his breathing, but afterwards, I could tell that he really enjoyed it and had a sense of accomplishment. If nothing else, he made mommy happy, and that seemed to please him. Thursday evening, I took Chloe for her usual evening walk, after taking Leroy for a walk around the yard. David took Leroy back inside, but a minute later he went out looking for me and Chloe, as I guess he wanted to go... He couldnt go on the walk, so instead...he went for a swim. Fully immersed, he slipped into the Oneness of the Universe. Ever Blessed.
