How did he get so wise all of a sudden, get such ability? Jesus - TopicsExpress

How did he get so wise all of a sudden, get such ability? Jesus came to his own country and hometown and just that moment he stepped foot into his own home town and taught, They were offended at him. Mark 6:3 But what made the people he had impressively taught become so offended? What went wrong? Did he really lack that charisma and exposition? I want to believe there was nothing he lacked apart from that he had just become so big. This isnt unusual, Genesis 26:12-14 says Isaac, Yahweh blessed him and he grew great, and grew more and more until he became very great. He had possessions of flocks, possessions of herds, and a great household. And the Philistines envied him. Ezekiel 31:9 says, I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him. We see from scripture that not only had Jesus so early in his ministry had gotten the ability to teach and to perform miracles, to heal and to cast out Devils but he also had all of a sudden became so wise. But he had grown among them just a carpenter! Marys boy! But when they compared him with the whole community and his brothers, James, Justus, Jude, and Simon, and his sisters they were much more offended. The people were compelled to ask; what wisdom is this, with which hes such abilities? The question wasnt anything about where and how but what that really signified. About Joseph, His brothers said to him, Will you indeed reign over us? Or will you indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him all the more for his dreams and for his words. Genesis 37:8 They looked at Jesus and thought, we didnt teach him this, and if we didnt bring him up this way from where had he gotten this ability, and the wisdom by which he doeth these mighty works, what mean it? Its in the habit of church to not accept real meaningful change. Despite the wisdom, if you try bring unfamiliar changes unaccustomed to the establishment youll be pushed out. If you want peace you dare not change nothing. According to them wisdom is only the application of the knowledge that they give, it should come from their experience and from what they call good judgement. Its within the human nature to pass on wisdom and pass on understanding - if you want peace you should just get theirs. If youve wisdom that you cant proselytise or cite to a scholarly work, you risk yours labelled as unethical or incomprehensible. When Jesus showed he had wisdom, despite the miracles they disapproved it for its source which wasnt theirs. It was good in the sense that they envied him but rather saw him as a threat and therefore took offence.
