How do you care for the caregiver? How do you minister to the minister? How do you console the consoler? How do you pray for the prayer?Without a doubt the most awe inspiring aspect of this entire ordeal has been my parents. For each nurse, Dr., person looking to provide comfort that enter the room, they themselves leave more comforted, cared for and loved than when they walked in. In a time where it would be easy to be resentful, needy, and just plain selfish and ask Why me? Mom & Dad continue to be amazing representations of Gods love. Worrying more about each individual and how they are rather than the present circumstance that could overwhelm them. Loving the opportunity to be able to share in the lives they have touched and adding to the people they have ministered to even now. The song Praise You in This Storm has never been portrayed in real life more than what I see before me and have for the past 36 years. I have no doubt that many that have come in have seen an earthly manifestation of God through the actions of these amazing people. If they were believers when they walked in, they have been emboldened and have seen Him at work. If they are not, they have left knowing that these people have something they want, have something they need and will no doubt began to seek Him in order to have the peace that passes all understanding. We are about to face the eye of the storm and believe me when I tell you, it still raining and they are still praising.
