How important are organization memberships to you? Do you prefer an attorney to have more national memberships or more local memberships? Im contemplating letting my Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce membership and my American Bar Association membership go without renewal. The former troubles me because of the amount of energy they spend on political agendas (I thought it was more of a networking group) and the latter just isnt something I find myself turning to for information. Of course that still leaves memberships with the Clark County Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys. wlawreview/memberships/
