How is this video offensive? I get that Malcolm Xs original ideology (within the Nation of Islam) could be portrayed as racist, or discriminatory against the white race (be referring to the whole race in general as white devils and the black Panthers were no better than the ku klux klan when it came to expressing their differences to the opposed race, often taking rash and violent action against innocent civilians. However, the images portrayed in this video are of African and African American suffering that have been experienced and how the race has overcome and displayed an immense amount of power. But I think of the changes Malcolm X could have brought to the African American community, had the Nation of Islam not assassinated him for his radical change in opinion. I think of the changes the Black Panthers could have brought to the African American community if they had chosen to be a political party, and not an extremist hate group.
