How it works: Having a Granny au Pair to stay with a host family - TopicsExpress

How it works: Having a Granny au Pair to stay with a host family in France or abroad is arranged on the basis of a ‘voluntary’ exchange of services for the benefit of both the ‘Granny’ and the host family. Our ‘Grannies’ get the chance to visit a new country with very little outlay, experiencing a new way of life and a completely different culture. They are able to learn or improve their knowledge of a foreign language and in return the host family will learn about another culture and different customs. It is a mutually enriching experience for both parties. Our fifty-plus ‘Grannies’ will be welcomed by the family, housed in their own room with full board, and will be regarded as a member of the family, not an employee. The aim is to have someone you can trust in your home for a specific period of time, expand your understanding of different cultures and provide your children with an international perspective. In return for receiving the above conditions, our Grannies will perform tasks such as: Baby-sitting Helping the children with their schoolwork Provide regional French cookery lessons Our Company: We are an organization that puts Granny au pairs in touch with host families.
