(BTW -The name of the group is Blood, Sweat and Tears, taken from the famous World War II utterance of the late Sir Winston Churchill, but there is hardly any of the pessimism attached to the phrase in the realm of the music world as there was when Churchill coined the phrase before the British House of Commons. ...so now you learned something!) Youve Made Me So Very Happy, Spinning Wheel & And When I Die are the tunes which come to mind...orchestra featured. Dick Halligan left BS&T in 1971 after recording their fourth album, when the band began to shift to more rock-oriented music. In 2011 and 2012 he had been developing and performing an autobiographical one-man show entitled Musical Being. An early title for it was Man Overboard. His daughter, Shana, is vocalist of trip-hop duo called Bitter Sweet..
