How many times have you thought, Geez, I just hate my legs! If only I could get my legs looking like, (names someone with great legs). Meanwhile that person with the great legs is thinking, I cant stand my abs, I wish they looked like, (names someone with great abs). No matter who you are, you are always going to have something that you nit-pick and beat yourself up over. We can only control so much and our genetics are going to dictate a lot of that. Embrace it! None of us are perfect, but there is beauty in imperfection. It is what makes you unique! Find ways to compliment that weakness. Example, I have skinny calves. There is nothing I can do about it. Ive destroyed them, and they just will not grow. But, through all of it, they have become more vascular and more define. So while the growth isnt there, I have come to appreciate the changes that have been made to them and find that when I embrace the positive, then I actually like my teeny-tiny calves. Work for change and then with even the slightest progress, embrace it! Build your confidence up and then the changes will happen more and more. Progress and confidence go hand in hand and you will achieve more when you love yourself.
