How many women have ever been personally victimized by the social media? I myself am a victim of the size zero system. The social media that tells us were fat if were not a size zero. The social media that tells us were ugly if we dont have a flawless face like the models have on the magazine covers. The media that makes us feel worthless if were not wearing, or buying the latest expensive brand named clothes or accessories. The media that secretly screams Starve yourself, buy diet pills, buy a treadmill, we promise that size zero, or wear pounds of make up over your face, and hide your true identity, we promise youll look like the model on the magazine cover. We promise everyone will see you as valuable as long as you own these expensive materials, do what it takes to own them! This happiness is temporary, eventually it dies out, fades away, and in the end were left with nothing. The media leads us to excessive consumption, debt, and misery. We mustnt keep sinking any longer. We mustnt allow them to humiliate us any longer. Only we have the power to eliminate them, either we die by their standards, or we live by our own.
