“…How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings…” Matthew 23:37 A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. She will sit with you all night while your sick, she will sit with you through the night to wipe your tears when you are hurting and listen to your troubles, helping you solve them. The Mothers heart is best defined by her unselfish generosity in ongoing, unconditional Love and giving. A Mothers heart is letting you feel Gods love radiate through her to you. For through her kindness, forgiveness, and never ending compassion you can wholly trust God, because He was easily recognizable in her. The loveliest master piece of the heart of God is the love of a Mother.
