How old is earth? Did humans coexist with dinosaurs? Is scientist way of dating the earth reliable? The bible teaches that the earth we live in is only maybe 6000 years old, that humans were around since the beginning, that God created humans on the 6th literal day of all creation. I am getting some tough skeptical questions from my teenagers about the conflict between what they are learning in school and what the Bible says. This has lead me to launch into an in depth study. Ive walked into that study with only two absolutes in mind; one God is real and two the bible is truth. I consider myself an intelligent guy, I have a bible education, I love to read and am by nature a skeptic. In fact I remember well my days as a teenager trying to disprove God so that I did not have to come to a conclusion that made me accountable for my actions. I realize this question of evolution vs creationism is a controversial subject but I want all to know that my study has done nothing but reinforce my faith in my Lord and savior Jesus Christ and the life changing word of God. At some point I will put together an in depth study to address the skeptics and battle the conflict the world has introduced in public education. Realize dear friends that to be a child of God takes faith and remember that we are finite beings trying to figure out an infinite God.
