How to Write a Blog Hey guys I’be been writing a blogs for awhile now and thought you might be interested in how to write a blog. There is so much information out on the Internet on how to write a blog that I thought I might give just a bit of my own personal experience. When I first stated blogging it had nothing to do with making money or business. That is why some people get into blogging-to make money. Now you can make money blogging. But that is not the topic of this entry. I wish to concentrate on why and how to write a blog. Why People Blog There are as many reasons to blog as there are people. Some do it for self fulfillment and others to promote a cause. There are authors who write for the joy of it. Some who blog are aspiring authors that have never been published and have found an audience. There are educational blogs. I don’t simply mean blogs for teachers. Although there are those. When I say educational I mean informational. When I am looking for a product to buy I often consult a blog post. Consumer’s Digest and such are great but a blog is like asking a friend. How to write a blog has much to to with your intention. How to write a Blog so People Read It How to write a blog Okay so you know what you want to write about, but let’s face it unless you are simply keeping an online diary you want others to read your content, right? So the question arises How to write a blog so people will read it? First, you must have people coming to your blog. That is called “traffic.” Now don’t get freaked out and think you have to become a marketing guru-you don’t. The great thing about a blog is that it builds momentum with time. Once you post a blog it’s on the Internet forever. That is cool because the longer you write your audience builds naturally. The best way is to hook up with a blogging service that is an “authority site.” The term ”authority site” may sound intimidating at first but it isn’t. It is simply where people go to find information. If you need a carpenter you would not go to the grocery store would you? No. You’d go where carpenters hang out….if you want your blog to be read it helps to work with an authority site. How to write a Blog So You Own Your Content Have you ever heard of someone inventing something but because they work for a company the company not them get the financial rewards? I’m sure you have. Well, here is a dirty little secret that I found out about how to write a blog. You want to make sure wherever you post your blog that you own it. There are blogging systems out there that actually own whatever you write. What they are really doing is enticing people to create content so they can get paid on advertising when people look at your content. Actually, if they do not like what you write they can remove it.
