~How to get more engagement on your Facebook profile~ 1. BE AWESOME! Facebook - this name talks for itsself! You show your face and personality when you start sharing your posts. Be positive! ~Dont complain or talk about your challenges and struggles unless you already overcome them! (If you need help or support talk to your close friends and family)! ~Dont share bad and negative news (there is enough of them on TV and all over the internet)! ~ Share your story, success, achievements, lifestyle. Make your posts attractive for other people, valuable, inspirational, motivational, educational and FUN! 2. If you want your friends, fans and followers read your stuff and engage more - YOU NEED TO KNOW WHEN THEY ARE ONLINE! If you’re going to publish something, make sure it’s during a time when as many of your friends and fans are online as possible. This is vital especially if you don’t post multiple times per day. This may seem obvious, but you may be doing more to hurt your Reach than you know, simply by posting at the wrong times. For me, my best times are between 11am -2pm, 6-9pm my time. (EST) 3. POST YOUR CONTENT FREQUENTLY! Posting frequently was considered bad, once upon a time. But times have changed! A little more than half of your friends and fans will be on Facebook every day. Of that number, they’ll be on for an average of 30-60 minutes. If you don’t post, you obviously don’t reach anyone. Your chances of reaching everyone will be minimal if you post just once or twice a day as you can only expect to reach those who were online within a one to two hour window. To reach more people when they are online, YOU NEED to POST MULTIPLE TIMES PER DAY! How many times that is will be dependent on the content you have as well as the preferences of your audience. If you can maintain a high level of content, feel free to post almost as frequently as you want.
