How to get rid of pores of pimples Acne is a chronic skin condition which is characterized by the appearance of pimples, blackheads and whiteheads on the face. This condition is an outcome of clogged pores, the tiny openings in our skin, which causes the sebaceous glands and the hair follicles to get infected and inflamed. Areas such as the face, neck, back, chest and shoulders are susceptible to this outbreak. Picking, squeezing and scratching the pimples is not healthy as it can leave behind severe scarring and pits on the face. Acne pit scars give the skin a depressed or sunken appearance. These pits are formed when infected cysts destroy the upper layer of the skins tissue. Thus, the scar tissue is then formed in the affected area. These scars and pits can greatly affect your self confidence and can become a cause for concern. Unfortunately once the scars have formed, there is very little that one can do to get rid of them totally; however, you can adopt measures that will reduce their appearance. Here are a few home remedies that can reduce the appearance of the acne pit scars on your face. Milk is considered to be one of the best remedies when it comes to treating acne scars. The lactic acid present in milk acts on the scars diminishing their appearance. Soak a clean cotton ball in glass of cold milk. Now apply it in liberal quantities all over your face. Once the milk has dried, after 15-20 minutes, wash your face with chilled water. The lactic acid will work on the pits, by dissolving the upper surface or layer of the skin, thereby reducing the pits. Chickpea flour can also be used for this condition. To two tablespoons of chickpea flour, add a teaspoon of milk and 5-6 drops of lime juice. Mix the three ingredients together, to make a thick paste. Apply the paste on the face and let it air dry for 15-20 minutes. Once the application dries, rinse it off with lukewarm water. This treatment should be continued till you see the pits fading. You can also add a few drops of potato juice to this paste. This will surely help in lightening the scars. Aloe vera gel and vitamin E oil are excellent for treating scars and blemishes. Simply apply a mixture of the two on the affected area and let it sit for 15 minutes then rinse off with lukewarm water. This when done consistently on a daily basis, will yield positive results.
