How to kick ass on instagram the right way: Im going to share a story with you about a true authentic brand who grew from 25 followers to 3,000+ followers in a very short period of time, it started from bunch of guys put together a team and created their very own first product introducing the “key wallet” they started a campaign on kickstarter then something really good happened they reached their goal, then since that time they started thinking on recreating the lifestyle products, so they had their website ready liquidstore.co/ , created their facebook page https://facebook/liquidco like everyone else, then soon they realized they need to be on Instagram! Other similar brands are kicking ass on Instagram and they have no idea how utilise the platform, first thing they did setup Instagram account put some photos up, then they went on following their friends and then their friends followed them back they gained around 25 followers soon they realized hmm now what? The Liquid team decided to dig in deeper they started researching online, attending online webinars, and so on until they got that Aha moment! So they started using #hashtags relevant to their lifestyle category like #fashion #menstyle etc.. and they followed their competition accounts or other brands selling similar products in the same category “lifestyle” and they started following their competition followers, the results they got their competition followers to follow them back because they where interested in what their selling, they are their target market within 4 weeks their following count jumped from 25 to 800 followers, even then they only got like couple sales out of it and it was too much effort, and it’s not really gaining them large following, so the Liquid team went back to work and started really experimenting few ideas and techniques until they got this breakthrough!!! YES what happened next is amazing!! The Liquid team went back on Instagram with their own secret weapon!! They looked for people are really famous on Instagram not selling anything just like to post things about the lifestyle industry and they have like 10000 followers 90000 followers and more!! So These Instagram influencers usually have their email address listed on their Instagram profile page, so the Liquid team crafted a message and emailed different Instagram influencers asking them if they could mention their brand on their account considering it is very relevant to what they post and it is really cool brand, so some accounts agreed to mention it for free, some wanted a sample to check the quality and review the product, and some just wanted one off fee.. the Liquid team did not only stop there, they provided these people the text and the photos they need to post so it makes their life easy, and consider another mention in the future, effort free, easy peasy. And within 3-4 weeks they reach 3000+ followers, they got their return on investment, sales went up, and now negotiating mentions from really big accounts on Instagram for their new product launch the key cady, me and my friends at Liquid we believe this time the new launch will kick ass!! They figured out the formula through experimenting and they got their with great success, they gained really true authentic followers who really love and like Liquid for who they are and what they sell, see you don’t want boring audience, you want an audience really interested in what you do and you gotta go and find this audience and bring him to you..
