How to recognize the enemy The Bible tells us in John 10:10 that the thief (devil/enemy) comes to steal, kill and destroy. If you want to know who the enemy is or who/what the enemy is using ask yourself is this situation, circumstance or individual/individuals are they adding or subtracting? Are my situations or what Im going through stealing my time away from God, my family and church? Are the pressures of life trying to kill me (bills,job,loosing love ones, fear,etc.,) ? If people tell you that you will never have enough, you will never have or do better, you will never be better, you will be broke, live in lack the rest of your life those are some of people that the enemy uses although they dont realize it many times themselves, they mean well sometimes but speak negative all the time and they dont have faith, the Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God. The devil will use anything or anyone he can, he will come through those we love sometimes but dont get discouraged just toon them out listen but reject it from your spirit that why the Bible teaches us to guard our heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life. If in your mind you feel inadequate, things will never get better, theres no hope for certain people. One more thing if people make you feel less,make you mad intentionally or circumstances and situations come that you feel that wont survive or make it through thats the enemy telling you and using those people. Jesus said I come to give life and life more abundantly so again i ask what is happening is it adding/subtracting? Finally the enemy also sometimes uses you against yourself the enemy is in me but you are NOT what they say,he says or even what you say and you are necessary what you see Hebrews 11:1 says Faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things not see. When you see yourself through GODS eyes you will see yourself BIGGER, BETTER & STRONGER, you will yourself as more than a conqueror not in your strength or ability but Gods.
