How will OneWest overcome the challenges that existing community development corporations (CDCs) have encountered on attracting investment capital and development into west Louisville? More importantly, how much will the community be engaged in development efforts to support the interests of existing residents? Let us be aware that this is not a new idea to further development in west Louisville, whereby several area large churches created CDC subsidiaries for that purpose. Video Critic: The video features few residents or community leaders presently active in neighborhood revitalization efforts to share a perspective of hope and progress currently being experienced in west Louisville. The contrast, music, and tone of the interviewers make west Louisville seem so depressing and hopeless. One of the chief complaints of west Louisville residents is when the area is featured it rarely showcase the lively spirit of the residents and its many amenities and jewels.
