Howard Area Community Center is looking to fill a Youth Job Developer position. Commitment: Part-time, 20 hours/week. Compensation: $12-$14/hour. The Youth Job developer of the Career and College Readiness Program (CCRP) will work directly with the program coordinator and the case manager in order to provide intensive employment support to youth who are enrolled in program. The Youth Job Developer will build relationships with community businesses and potential employers, research job fairs, openings, and opportunities, provide career counseling, compile and present statistics on youth employment for outreach initiatives, facilitate one-on-one and group job-readiness training, assess the specific employment needs of youth enrolled in the program, and direct efforts for youth job placement.
