Howard was brilliant yesterday, had the 20,000+ in his control! Everything sounded great, Sean his sound engineer, took over the board from the festival engineer and did a great job. Closing out the night after the sun went down, Tom appeared on stage and the crowd behind the barricade at the stage surged and sang along from the first words. There was a little hiccup with a cable from the drummers monitors and it disrupted the flow on the first number but after that... smooth sailing, Andrea, Angela and Emily did a tremendous job on the songs we all know and love and Toms voice got stronger with each number. Great video graphics synched for each song. What an amazing comeback. Afterwards in the trailer, I asked Tom how it compared to what he remembered from the old touring days and he said it felt better now!
