Howdy everyone! Kevin Kane from the Memphis CVB meets a man who used to be in the Rolling Stones (Bill Wyman) and a man who has creaking bones (Mike Davis)! Today the Elvis Travel Service were in London for a lunch at the aforementioned Bill Wymans Sticky Fingers restaurant, hosted by Kevin and his UK counterpart David Nicholson. We dined on a traditional Memphis menu of ribs and fried chicken in the company of other members of Memphis tourism and various journalists, TV and film producers and other media types. It proves once again that Elvis always gets top billing though as a conversation about working with George Clooney quickly was abandoned when it was found out what we did and the talk soon turned to Elvis (sorry George!). It was a thoroughly productive afternoon though with everyone pledging to offering their assistance in making sure our tour groups have the best possible service, care and attention when they visit Memphis. With 42 years of friendship with these fine folk, thats why we can do things for fellow Elvis that others cant. They just love the Elvis Travel Service groups.
