Howdy folks, Im heading o/s in the next week or so and Im planning on tweaking a smallie Ive managed to get hold of for while Im over there. Its an indian vespa PL170 (supposedly a 100cc with leccy ignition) Ive got a few polini 130/133 kits here but one of them has had some porting done on it and has PM stamped round the bottom somewhere. Would this mean its some type of PM upgrade or do I have an unknown quantity?? Atm Im thinking of just slapping the kit onto it with a wee bit of dremmelling to make it suck a bit sweeter with possibly a larger carb (mebbe even a reed setup??) and some type of pipe. I have trade access to Saigon scoots so I might grab one of their spannyz?? Apparently this particular scoot comes standard with PK forks so I might fit a disc brake on there as well which luckily enough are now available in India (where Im headed) Any info on the various tripe Ive spouted would be much appreciated. Also, if you happen to want one of these PL170s I can probably sort one for you although I doubt it would be competitive pricewise considering what you Europeans pay for scoots...
