Howdy yall Hope everyone is doing well. Well, just a little update of all that is going on here in Georgia!! Yall remember when we first got here 10 days later to be exact we had an over spill in the main floor bathroom - this was on January 1st 2014 we were still in boxes so I had no clue where the towels and other stuff was let alone the fact that we were in a new country, it was January 1st and Andrea had fever from a sinusitis infections - anyway we laugh about it now. Thanksgiving rolled around at the end of November and the very next weekend - the kitchen faucet is leaking and leaking right through the basement floor AND our fridge broke - so we had to throw everything out -- luckily it was after Thanksgiving. We should have realized it sooner since the kids were saying that there was something different with their milk - ahhh well live and learn!!! Got that fixed after one week of going from one milk container to another - keeping it cold in a small cooler and a large bag of ice. Ohh yes the same plumber that came for the bathroom leak on Jan 1st came for the faucet leak - and I said to him, hey I remember you!! Everyone said I was going to make new friends but I never thought it was going to be with the plumber!!! Anyway, as if that was not enough - one night when Gerry was up late watching TV he goes to the pantry and voila - he is being watch by a little critter with a long tail!!! You guessed it a FREAKIN mouse!!!! YUCK!!!! So off we go to get mouse traps etc... and we caught it the very next night!! This was Friday. Yeah!! We kept the traps there just in case and since it had been 2 nights since the last catch I was sure that the battle with these freakin mice was over but NO NO NO!! This morning (2 days later) I found a dead one lying there lifeless in the basement - YUCK YUCK YUCK!!! Apparently, they dont like the cold - no shit neither do I!! And there are a lot of new homes with this problem since the new homes are being built in wooded areas - tearing down the trees, there homes etc... so we dont see them in the summer but they want to stay warm in the winter - well they are not invited in my home!!! And voila!! Never a dull moment in Kennesaw Georgia!! Hugs and kisses to everyone!!
